Our Chashaku are hand made using traditional Japanese methods and measures 18-19cm in length and 1cm in width. As an integral part of the matcha tea ceremony, the Chashaku is curved at the end to get the perfect measurement of matcha powder from the Natsume. Traditionally the Chashaku was made from ivory which has now been replaced with a more sustainable product – bamboo.
